WHAT
Designed as a peaceful intervention in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, ‘Grey Borders’ aims to raise awareness of the daily struggles of people on both sides.

WOW
A documentary reveals the personal stories of those living near the border, and a VR experience allows people to encounter the places that most don’t, won’t or can’t go because of the conflict.

WHY
As a believer in a world without borders, Lithai Cohen Pletain researched how people’s freedom of movement is limited along the Israeli-Palestinian divide. The project is a way to demonstrate the irrational nature of physical boundaries.
