Info

During Salone del Mobile, Design Academy Eindhoven launches the '50' exhibition in Milan. From 17 to 22 April 2012, the Academy presents her vision on design with a selection of 50 key projects of recent bachelors and masters graduates.

Design Academy Eindhoven presents 50 graduate projects that have a firm connection with life and a desire to make sense of it.

Ilse Crawford, the British designer and curator of Design Academy Eindhoven and this exhibition, presents a clear philosophy: "50 Graduate projects with a firm connection to life and a desire to make sense of it. Design is at its best when it addresses real needs.” In this manner, she indicates that the current design projects reflect the needs of society. The designers of the future make a connection with economic, social and cultural aspects in our society and shape real matters.

DESIGN HUB
For the second year the Design Academy Eindhoven exhibition takes place at Studio Zeta in Via Friuli (Show on Google Maps), an inspiring 'design hub' which unites the creative industry during the exhibition and the Milan Breakfasts. These are design debates in cooperation with Premsela and Capital D.
DAE alumni also run a contemporary café and the Premsela exhibition 'Spring' takes place at the same location.
