Experience our open day to learn more about our education at Design Academy Eindhoven. Our open day takes place today as we speak till 16hrs. We present information about our programme and application procedure. In addition guided tours at the academy will be given by our students. Moreover, we present an exhibition about work from the first year, design departments, compass departments and the Masters. Free entrance for visitors of the open day.
Exhibition: OUR WAY
My goal with the Exhibition was to offer a complete and insightful overview of Design Academy Eindhoven. I thus requested each department to make a representative selection of their work, which I then used. The presentation shows the work of both bachelor and master students, from all years of study, compass departments and various programs.
The structure of the presentation is linear: the top of the space accommodates the masters, in the center the bachelors are presented, and on both sides we find the compass departments as supporting arms. I see this presentation as a rare, yet unique moment for Design Academy Eindhoven. Here, our complete student work comes contextually, spatially and visually together as a ‘Gesammtarbeit’.
