On September 4th Design Academy Eindhoven is opening the Academic Year
and celebrate its 65th Anniversary
.

There will be a lecture Guten Appetit XL by Martin Hablesreiter from HONEYANDBUNNY.

In their book Food Design XL the Austrian designers look at how our eating habits have evolved over the years. The duo did extensive research in the field of food design, dissecting matters such as colour, taste, consistency, shape and size. For why do we have round pizzas and brick-shaped bread? Why do we prefer red foods over say blue? What makes a marshmallow so attractive and liver such an acquired taste? According to Honey & Bunny we shouldn’t just aimlessly consume what we are offered in the supermarket but take some time to consider what it is we are eating and why it is is the way it is.

Afterwards we celebrate our 65th Anniversary, with food and drinks for all students, tutors, employees and our Friends.
