We are proud to announce Studio FormaFantasma, IM Masters Alumni @DAE, has been selected as one of the finalists of the Doen|Materiaalprijs and Innovation by Design Awards with their project Botanica. Next to that, they have also been selected for the Young Dutch Design Award.
The Doen|Materiaalprijs was created to promote the sustainable design practice in which the core values of innovation and sustainability go hand in hand with style and functionality. This annual prize intends to mobilize everyone at the cutting edge of art and design to devise new ways and means of designing for a sustainable future. The prize ceremony will be held at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven on the opening day of Dutch Design Week on October 22nd.
The Innovation By Design Awards are a showcase for inspiring, ingenious design solutions. Studio FormaFantasma rose to the top from among 1,700 entries. The winners will be unveiled on October 16 in New York.
And last but not least, Studio FormaFantasma has also been selected as one of the finalists for the MINI Young Designer Award 2012. An international jury headed by Hans Wijers will appoint the winner, whose name will be announced on Sunday, October 21 at the Awards Ceremony in Eindhoven.
During Dutch Design Week, which takes place from 20 to 28 October 2012, this nominated work will be exhibited as well. See you there!
