Her series of home jewellery Domesticated Nature will take the place and take over the function of flowers.

Eefiene Bolhuis is fascinated with materials and constructions and has explored new ways of creating connections in clothing. In Connect, Bolhuis did not use a needle and thread, but nuts and bolts made out of brass, to connect different layers of cloth. This way of constructing both dictates form and serves as a decoration. Connect is a collection of clothing items that can be worn as jewellery.
