HIGHLIGHTING OUR ABS RD WAYS WITH FOOD

What’s for dinner today amidst such abundance? Our intake of food – basically the building blocks for the body – has long since ceased to be prompted by a physical need alone. We are constantly reminded of food by the things we see around us. It makes us graze all day long, with all that this entails. Marijke Timmerman has researched the way we deal with food which she feels is absurd. She has visualised her findings in a book and poster campaign aimed at young people. ‘What’s for dinner today’ reveals contradictions, shatters illusions, and is a wake-up call to the reader.
