DISGUISE TO GIVE US A NEW PERSPECTIVE

Loose yourself in a daily appliance. Immerse yourself in it, hide under it, bring it to life. Domestic Disguise is a second skin for objects and furniture, which will seem to allow the user to crawl into. The soft blankets and cloths have eyes that observe the world from an unusual perspective. This suggestive collection Domestic Disguise created by Emilie Pallard explores the power of imagination, the grey area between being there and not being there. Draped over the couch or a clothes’ hanger, the blankets will start to lead a life of their own.

A LAMP THAT MAKES YOU THINK

Emilie Pallard wants to bring man and object closer together. She will create associative objects that will amaze and encourage the observer to fantasise. Long View is a lamp that is reminiscent of a pair of binoculars. Its shape is an invitation to use it as one; the light is like the sun. You can lift this source of light from its plinth and take it with you to another room in the house. Long View will make passers-by stop and think for a minute about the meaning of light and entice them to touch it, stare into the distance, and dream away. See everyday objects form a different perspective and let your imagination run free.
