A piece of lounging furniture on the cutting edge between chair and carpet. Sophie de Vocht has caught the comfort of the two and united them to become one product. She has created a handtufted cover out of a piece of knitting yarn measuring a staggering 300 metres, created especially by the Textielmuseum. De Vocht has developed her own tufting technique, pulling the loops through a tough piece of metal wire mesh. As the loops become bigger, more colours appear. In Loop Chair the soft frayed loops at the end offer either feet or head a comfortably soft pillow.
