The House Archive by Jonathan Hofmeijer is a reflection of its users: furniture serving as a biography. This system makes it possible to store and showcase objects at the same time. The system is inspired by filing cabinets like those commonly found in municipal offices. Hofmeijer: “When friends come and visit, the cabinet storing the beautiful wines can be brought out. And easily filed away again too. I want my system to capture the daily dynamics of a house.”
