With her project Water Storage Unit Francien Hazen wants to use water very consciously. “It is a waste to throw out rain water with waste water. It is not very polluted after all, and fine for use in the garden. Of course you’ve got rain barrels, but I wanted something more versatile,” says Hazen. Her Storage Unit is connected to a rain barrel. In the nursery Storage Unit, herbs grow and there are water cans and a sink with a tap so you can pump the water out of the barrel to fill a bucket for example. Everything related to gardening and water has been brought together here.
