Overpopulation - The More the Merrier?

By the time this animated short ends, 300 new people will have entered the world. The little dolls in the picture are multiplying rapidly. The screen clogs up with mouths to feed, the mouths segue into icons for energy, water, food and space. The world population has tripled since the 1950s, but there are fewer and fewer resources. Meanwhile, the dolls have also become very fat and think they need three times more than they needed before. Things are getting out of hand! The message is inescapable: ‘The More the Merrier’ no longer applies to this overpopulated world.
