Bread Bowl

With Bread Bowl, two bowls for preparing bread, Elke van den Berg wants to communicate her double love of clay and food preparation. “The bowls can be used to knead the dough, allowing people to work with their hands and with the ingredients.” Bread Bowl can be used at home to make traditional, home-baked bread. The bowls can be used for every step in the process: kneading the dough for the bread, letting it rise, baking and storing it. When you are finished, hang your bread on the wall, like a still life, a piece of traditional art.
