So what happens if, instead of using these products to dress a room, you use them to make one? In Costume Space, Hanna Dís Whitehead shrinks each area of the home to a human scale until it becomes more like a voluminous costume than a traditional interior. A bedroom quilt is transformed into an intimate sleeping tent and a braided rug provides a low canopy to a living room, inviting you to sit and relax underneath it. With long, sweeping strands, her ‘kitchen’ has evolved from the woven matting of a broom.
