By reduction-firing a stack of ceramic containers, Hannah transforms their chemical properties without making any additions. Red iron oxide in the clay turns to deep black, and where the items touch, a light grey marking appears. The shapes, marks and colours transform the value of the items. The inextricable link between process, material, colour and shape dictates the use of these Reservoirs.
