Revealing Maps of Cancer Care

Research has shown that cancer patients often do not understand what they are going through during their treatment. To tackle this problem, Renee Scheepers created a comprehensible map detailing every step of the journey. It can be opened out to provide more information along the way, as the patient progresses from the first visit to the last check-up. Renee made her map based on her observations at a hospital specialising in radiotherapy. Smart use of colour, recognisable illustrations and simplified information help patients to navigate the entire process, giving them a better insight into their illness and personal healing process.
