Public opinion is divided: backers praise the development and anticipate a boom for the town, while the opposition predicts a toxic future lived in poverty. Opposing truths, one told by the mining company, another by the activists, and nuanced positions in between. The project consists of a newspaper and video game and explores the contrasting realities of gold mining today.
