Yet, it’s where the decision to buy or not to buy is made. Nowadays, opinion is further swayed by instantly sharing changing-room selfies of the potential purchase online. So it pays to make sure those selfies look good. David Hummelen’s ‘Photo Prompter’ does just that. Inspired by the almost obsolete photo booth, this cubicle lets you tailor the lighting to your own taste, mood, or clothing. Then it’s just a matter of snapping that all-important smartphone shot and counting the ‘likes’.
