STAP

Ruben van Zeeland has developed a series of step-by-step tools that empower victims of sex trafficking as they work on their recovery. Designed for use together with a social worker, the tools cleverly use different types of questions, illustrations and formats to help people define, plan and visualise their own growth process. The self-evaluation and hope this triggers are crucial to mental and social wellbeing, and especially important in vulnerable lives. ‘STAP’ was made in consultation with experts from the Salvation Army and support organisation Fier and have been tested by behavioural scientists at Radboud University.
