RATIO

With his ‘RATIO’ range, Johan Viladrich visualises his ambition to create a standardised furniture system that uses the minimum amount of material to perform a specific function. It allows for a reduction in material consumption, and in addition, the flexibility of the basic construction offers freedom of choice: the design adapts to whatever resources are available and to the intended use. By applying his elementary connecting principles to simple structural elements like rods, tubes and planks Johan has constructed three furniture items: a shelving unit, a console and a bench.
