Taggie

In order to help children become aware of where their food comes from, Niels van Hoof has developed the Taggie. Taggie is an application with which children can research foods in the supermarket. By aiming a smartphone at the tag (barcode), an animated film will appear about where the food comes from and the way it grows. Browse through the menu and discover which varieties there are, or send a bee to a flower to pollinate it. Taggie will give children more information on fruit and veg in a playful way, which will hopefully help them choose healthy foods.
