These rubber items with nylon hairs are meant for the wellness industry. “The interior of wellness centres is often quite cold and impersonal,” says Floor van Doremalen. “I want to inspire the industry to bridge the gap between hard tiles and warm and tangible human skin.” Inspired by imaginary animal skins and aquatic creatures, these sensitive materials give super-sensory impulses to the body.
