WHAT
A game that draws on the vocabulary of sport to design bodily experiences in which social norms are performed and deconstructed.

WHY
Sport is more than physical activity. It is also a power structure that reinforces normative logic and positions identities in a disciplined framework. In ‘Multiform’, Gabriel Fontana took the sports field as a micro- environment where he could find out how patterns of behaviour reflect their wider social context.

HOW
Gabriel developed a game in which sport becomes a metaphor for exploring how people interact in daily life, from the uniforms we identify with to the specific roles accorded to us in a group.
