Mise en Abyme of Love

What: A setting for curating events that explore the notion of love. The forms of encounter and action provoked in turn affect and diffract the space.

Why: Reading or hearing the word ‘love’ triggers all sorts of demands and hopes to connect with others. Esteban Gomez Rosselli curated a ‘diagrammatic space’ to test the capacity of dialogue to foster a dynamic understanding of this ambivalent topic.

How: A series of performative lectures held in the installation take love as a dynamic prop. The events draw attention to the concept, the word itself working as a screen upon which participants project their own experiences and interpretations.
