The Sweet Retreat

What: ‘The Sweet Retreat’ is a collection of playful objects inviting you to a light-hearted and joyful sensation.

Why: Within the design field nowadays there is a great focus on social design and design thinking related to global problems. Jelle van Twillert’s project is an appeal not to forget to have fun too and use the positive energy it brings to address the topics at hand with more power.

How: By playing with the aesthetics of sweetness through colour, form and tactility the soft and bright objects create a playful ambiance where people can retreat and recharge from daily seriousness and responsibility.
