Reality Is the Best Story

What: ‘Reality Is the Best Story’ is a small design exhibition with a personal view on conceptual product design, in which three design objects can be viewed from different angles.

Why: Four years of education at the Design Academy Eindhoven has transformed Ken Tsunoda in countless ways. However, his first impression that conceptual product design could sometimes be far-fetched didn’t change. He decided to make the most of that, using the skills he gained through his DAE education.

How: Three design objects are presented and described in multiple, completely different contexts and stories. They show how contexts are the primary goals to be communicated, with the physical design objects serving merely as props of the stories. At the same time, it can be looked at as an attempt to push forward the boundaries of conceptual product design.
