Rop van Mierlo is awarded 'Best Graphic Design - Dutch Design Awards 2011'. He is awarded for his illustrations picture book ‘Wilde Dieren’. The book is an icon inviting people to tell stories. Meanwhile, the illustrations are so strong that it does not really need a story. Universal, understandable for everyone, from young to old and all over the world.
