Take a look at these impressions of the parchment exhibition organized by DAE third year students. These students of design department Man and Identity have explored the usability of parchment. They discovered new potential uses of this material. For example: parchment jewellery, clothes, furniture and glasses. In addition, they experimented with new and surprising processing methods.

Students got the chance to present their work outside the academy during this exhibition in “Schaapskooi Schijndel” (The Netherlands). They received a lot of attention by interested visitors. During the exhibition students benefited of the chance to mention the selling points of their work. DAE will explore together with Kartuizerklooster and  Schaapskooi Eerde a manner in which these projects can be transformed into sellable items.
