April 2nd 2012, Minister Verhagen of Economics, Agriculture and Innovation and other involved organisations signed a contract on innovation in Den Haag (The Hague, the Netherlands). From now on the creative industry is one of the nine top sectors in the Netherlands, in which Anne Mieke Eggenkamp (Chairwoman Executive Board of DAE) is involved. The name of the creative industry is CLICK, which stands for: Creativity, Learning, Innovation, Co-creation and Knowledge.
Eindhoven will be an important city in this industry CLICK, which consists of different creative organisations and companies. Eindhoven will get a national bureau called CLICK//NL. This bureau will coordinate in the creative industry. Anne Mieke Eggenkamp is one of members of the team of CLICK//NL. The team will connect networks of different disciplines and will mobilize involved parties. Also they will discuss plans for the future related to smart design solutions.
The bureau of CLICK//NL will probably be housed with Capital D (Design Cooperation Brainport) at Strijp S in Eindhoven (The Netherlands)
