After the big success of the windows designed for Hermès at the Bijenkorf Amsterdam, Kiki was asked by Hermès Italy to adapt those 5 exceptional windows into an installation of 8 windows for their Milano store during the Salone del Mobile from April 17 till May 7 2012. Kiki van Eijk says: “It really shows the joy of a child playing with a lot of fantasy, like Alice in wonderland.”
In addition, Kiki van Eijk exhibited at several locations. From April 17 till April 22 she presented the exhibition ‘Nodus’. This exhibition is all about savage flowers. Also she was asked by Omnidecor, a company based in Erba (Italy), to give a new approach to their glass panels. She developed 8 new tactile glass panels and exhibits with ‘Tactile glass’ during Salone del Mobile.
