Thinking and talking about What Design Can Do... Today and tomorrow design-minded people gather at the Amsterdam Schouwburg (NED) to share their thoughts about design. This first day our students from the department Man and Communicatons were present at this event during the Breakout session ‘What Design Can Do for Eindhoven’. Different views on how to change the way of life in Eindhoven were presented to the visitors of this conference.
The Stone Twins, head of this DAE design department, were proud of their students achievements. And not only them, the audience was clearly involved and appreciated the refreshing ideas about how to ‘use’ design to create and celebrate life in the city of Eindhoven. The ideas range from celebrating differences in the city to upgrading the ambiance on 2nd floors in the city centre or integrating cultures on the market. We encourage our students to continue their hard work and hope to experience the results of this creative process while walking around Eindhoven in the nearby future.
