Buffi Duberman launches her new online teaching programme “Rock Your English! @ Home” on June 8. We are proud of Duberman, because she has taught DAE students for a couple of years now (from 2009). She is known for teaching famous Dutch artists and has published her first book ‘Rock Your English!’ in 2009.
“Rock Your English! @ Home” will improve your English language skills in fifteen lessons. You will practice your English online, together with famous Dutch people. For example Anneke van Giersbergen, Tim Knol, Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation), Marinus de Goederen (Mr. a Balladeer) and Lucky Fonz III will appear in the lessons. Watch the promo video:
Since Dutch performers are active all over the world English language skills are necessary. Duberman published a book “Rock Your English!” in which she combined all her experience and expertise. This book was released in the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway in 2009. Besides DAE, the teaching method of Buffi is adopted by other educational institutions like Fontys Rockacademy (Tilburg, The Netherlands) and Albeda College (Rotterdam, The Netherlands).
The rockalicious expert says: “It’s easier for the students to learn English by using the lyrics of a song. The familiarity of the music ensures that they keep remember the language.”
