Students from the departments of Man and Mobility and Man and Living have worked on a project with Air France KLM. Students in the department of Man and Mobility studied the possibilities for transporting people, goods and data. The Living department focused on those products and services that determine the living environment. The things people need to be able to live and that will make sense of living in a set of surroundings.
The main challenge for this project was to gain an understanding of the passenger’s view of the ground experience at the airport, from booking to arrival. Students had to think of what the future passenger journey (self government) would be like, and simplify this. More than 30 students went to work with the assignment.
