This summer, Lidewij (Li) Edelkoort (62), trendforcaster and former chairwoman Executive Board of Design Academy Eindhoven (1999 - 2008) will be Jan Leyers' guest at the Dutch VPRO tv programme 'Zomergasten'.
Li: “I haven't decided the actual theme for my evening yet. The focus will be on landscape, melancholia and the way we see this period we live in. Ofcourse the conversation will be about trends, but that's mainly because everything I do has to do with that and I can not think in any other way. The best case scenario would be the broadcast being a living trend book.”
Among Li, other guests are Henny Vrienten (composter and former singer of Dutch band 'Doe Maar'), Adriaan van Dis (writer, journalist and tv maker), Jolande Withuis (sociologist and researcher NIOD Dutch Institute for War Documentation), Micha Wertheim (cabaretier and publicist).
