The Graduation Show 2013 attracted more than 32.200 visitors: the highest number of visitors ever! Design Academy Eindhoven is looking back on a successful show that inspired lots of journalists, designers, artists and curious people from all over the world.
Self Unself continues in Van Abbemuseum
For the first time this year, the Graduation Show’s theme ‘Self Unself’ is also being researched in the rooms of the Van Abbemuseum. Design in an art museum? Yes, because design is no longer about iconic furniture and consumerism. As Thomas Widdershoven explains it to ‘Museumtijdschrift’: “Design is more and more about the designers placing themselves in the world.”
