Just graduated and already spotted by industry, institutes and magazines! Teresa van Dongen, Martina Lasinger, Nils Chudy and Julia Veldhuijzen van Zanten are in the race for different awards.
Nils Chudy has already won the national James Dyson award, and is now one of the designers with a chance to win the international award. This is very good news: an innovative consumer electronics brand like Dyson is a great endorsement for his design Miito. www.jamesdysonaward.org

Julia Veldhuijzen van Zanten is one of the nominees for the New Material Award 2014. With her Protective Underwear project she has gained interest of Het Nieuwe Instituut, Materiaalfonds and Stichting Doen who are organizing the annual contest. Besides Julia as a recent graduate, more alumni of Design Academy Eindhoven are nominated: Atelier NL, Erik Klarenbeek, Borre Akkersdijk and others.
