Overview of the #TVclerici projects. These video's are being filmed and edited live at TV studio #TVclerici during Salone del Mobile 2017.

Floriane Misslin, 'Uni-Sex: Can Universal Gender Unify Sexes?'

Uni-Sex reveals the evolution of gender identities in media imagery. The analysis distills unisex fashion campaigns to extract their visual language and cultural codes. Facts are evinced through systems of didactic graphics that show how male and female bodies are displayed in a context of gender neutrality. The project questions such images and finds contradictions between unisex fashion statements and the applied methods of representation. The research helps to redefine genderless imagery according to a more forward thinking conception of gender, and makes use of media imagery's social impact to challenge this evolution.

Pleun van Dijk, 'REBORN'

Reborn is designed to create awareness about the ethical and moral implications of biomedical improvement. We repair what is damaged, replace broken body parts and change our look to fit an ideal. With the key to perfection, will we gradually change into designed human beings? Who defines the ideal and where does all this lead? Is it already plausible to imagine a population of modular humans?

Vincent Thornhill and Filip Setmanuk, 'Becoming one with representation'

In an age of hyper-connectivity, we face a growing conflict between our physical and digital selves. In this mindfulness session, Vincent and Filip help you to disconnect from the anxieties of this dichotomy, and connect to a state of pure representation. Perspective, perception and pixels come together to relieve us of a singular, limited experience of the world. By being mindful of the virtuality of our senses and cognition, we can grow to accept our relationship with digital imagery as just another reality of our continuously mediated selves. Throughout the performance the audience are pulled closer and closer to the idea that media is designed and when carefully manipulated our cynicism can be bent into belief.

Victor Miklos & Leo Orta - 'UNIFORM'

UNIFORM challenges the invisible links between society, identity and exposure. Here you see the suits, transport boxes and wearable screens.  These are worn by the performers who reduce themselves to a silhouette pushing all attention on to the audience who can choose to observe or be observed via the screen.  The more active choice is to assume the identity of a performer and to participate in an interaction that allows one to deal and reflect on the predicament of exposure, and all its various vulnerabilities.

Olle Lundin - 'BODY BEHAVIOUR'

Curious to find out how he might apply queer theory to fashion photography, Lundin analysed a decade of advertising campaigns from British Vogue. He extracted and recontextualised typical fashion-shoot postures to denaturalise the body language of high fashion. The resulting series of poses reveal the norms, ideals and invisible expectations inherent in the visual language discourse of high fashion advertising.

Kim Hou - 'THE COLLECTION'

For the inaugural ABOUT A WORKER collection, workers were asked to deconstruct, reconstruct and embellish a “Bleu de Travail” (blue polycotton overall), a garment that traditionally symbolises a French factory worker. The brand will employ luxury advertising language and imagery to position itself in the market.  The message to fashion lovers, is transparent production methods and genuine empathy for workers matters, and the message to industry is more ethical and sustainable systems are possible.

Jella Lena van Eck & Clara Escalara - 'Adore me@...'

Adore me@..., is a video installation made from mobile devices that together create a persona representing the face of Instagram. She feeds into the growing number of people who want to become Insta-famous (famous within the Instagram world). She tells you how to act, and what to change in your original self to become somebody people will want to follow online.  Online communication is different from offline “real world” communication - it is brutally honest, short, and manipulative. This is the oracle language in which she speaks. Be a spectator and look into her eyes, listen to her voice.
