Jurriënne Ossewold, Director of Education & Research and member of the Executive Board decides to leave DAE.

The Supervisory Board of Design Academy Eindhoven was very sorry to hear Jurriënne Ossewold’s decision to step down as member Executive Board/ Director of Education & Research: “Naturally, we fully respect and understand her decision. Jurriënne was a DAE director for four years and she leaves a positive footprint in DAE’s history for which we are grateful.”

Ossewold has been contributing to the work of Design Academy Eindhoven in different positions over the last 15 years, starting in 2004. First as Head of the Kompas-department Lab and as Reader (Lector) ‘Tomorrow Matters’ until 2010. She returned to the academy in 2014 as an educational consultant in the position of transition manager education and became member Executive Board/Director of Education & Research in 2015.

Yesterday Ossewold informed the entire DAE community:

“After careful deliberation I’ve reached the conclusion that the time has come for me to steer my working life in a more content-driven direction again. It is in this context that I’ve decided to not continue my administrative position as Director of Education and Research/Member Executive Board at Design Academy Eindhoven.

I’ve always been fully committed to the work of DAE and its community of students, teachers and alumni. I’d like to thank all of you for our collaboration, it has been a great pleasure and a challenge!”
