This year the exhibition of Vij5 is about the special collaboration with Mieke Meijer, who devised
a solution for up-cycling old newspapers into a new material: NewspaperWood.
Vij5 and Mieke are currently developing the material together and invited a group of talented
young Dutch designers (a.o. Breg Hanssen, Christian Kocx, Floris Hovers, Greetje van Tiem,
Ontwerpduo) to experiment with NewspaperWood for the first prototypes and product collection.
