Crisp

On the 7th of March Christian Nold and Mike Thompson discussed participatory reserach at the Designhuis in Eindhoven. How to cooperate with multistakeholders and how to find your own voice in multidisciplianry teams; that were the main questions to discuss.

According to Nold designers should find ways to incorporate the user in the design process. In his research maps he tries to represent communities by measuring their emotions. Using new techniques like galvanic skin Response Nold makes emotional maps that visualise peoples arousal in relation to their geographical locations. Mike Thompson also tries to involve users in his CRISP research project (titeled GRIP) on job related stress. He cooperates with Philps, TUE and mental health institues.
