World respected Design thinker Don Norman visited Design Academy Eindhoven on the 9th of November where he discussed the GRIP project; a research project on job related stress.
After an interesting presentation of the GRIP team, Norman empasised the value of interdisciplinary reserach for the design field? How can we gain new knowlegde by these interdisciplinary reserach projects and how should we educate designers about these new ways of thinking and researching?
Norman, known from his best sellers as Emotional design is typically interested in these kind of questions. In his latest book Living with Complexity he states that good design can help to tame the complexity!
