Heather Daam’s work focuses on design research tools that empower users as part of the design process. Heather believes in different disciplines sharing knowledge towards a common goal, and in empowering people as experts of their own experience. “Working in the social domain means a designer is dealing with the everyday experiences of people, how they interact within their surroundings, and their own well-being. It is important as designers to consider the experience people have in their lives, the factors that create that experience, and strategies to manifest change.”
