“Are you in for something new?” the invitation said, received at the DAE. And a new concept was presented last Monday at the start of the Salone del Mobile. New Duivendrecht is the newest Dutch manufacturer of contemporary furniture. Founders DAE alumnus Frederik Roijé and Victor le Noble of Tuttobene brought together a group of young designers, a mix of former students of different academies, each with their own speciality. The brand includes lighting, seating, interior objects and flooring. Other DAE alumni are Tineke and Marijke Willems of Studio Tweelink, Jos Kranen and Johnannes Gille of Kranen/Gille and David Keune.
